Said differently, we can avoid feeling like we’re victims of the inevitable changes in our lives by intentionally being more focused on the present instead of losing sleep about the past which we can’t change or the future … which will come anyway.
By accepting the present, we can start to overcome the fear of change and the normal strong emotions that accompany it.
